In a groundbreaking concert experience, sponsored in part by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), Brazilian Voices will present “AMAZONAS: The Rhythm of Nature.”


This exceptional event made possible through Fantasy Theatre Factory’s Cultural Arts Partnership Program (CAP@SRT), promises an evening of enchantment and enlightenment. Brazilian Voices, renowned for their powerful interpretations and harmonious melodies, will offer not only a musical journey but also a compelling message about the critical importance of the Amazon rainforest, the Everglades, and our planet’s delicate ecosystem.

  • Visual Arts Component: Immerse yourself in the artistic expressions of two Brazilian artists, Clara Piquet and Ernesto Kunde. Clara Piquet’s paintings in the gallery lobby will explore themes of Brazilian indigenous communities and environmental conservation, while Ernesto Kunde’s visionary creations on canvas, wood, and aluminum will captivate with their transformative prowess.
  • Audience Engagement: Join the band, featuring guitar, piano, bass, and drums, alongside 10 to 15 Brazilian Voices singers. The stage will be open for students, families, and all attendees to learn and play a variety of percussion instruments.
  • Tribute to Brazilian Composers: Experience the delightful fluidity and warmth of Brazilian Voices’ singing as they pay homage to legendary Brazilian composers like Tom Jobim, Dori Caymy, Sergio Mendes, and Marisa Monte.
  • Empowering Women and Immigrants: Brazilian Voices not only celebrates Brazilian music and culture but also represents women and immigrants, fostering a sense of understanding and respect.
