The South Florida Theatre League’s annual Unified Auditions are traditionally held on Presidents’ Day. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the League has decided to not hold them in 2021, but plans to bring them back in February 2022. As soon as details are solidified, they will be posted here and in our weekly update.
Our Unified Auditions allow actors the opportunity to audition for multiple theatre companies at once. Actors are limited to a 1-minute monologue and up to sixteen bars of a song.
To participate as an actor, you must be a current individual member of the South Florida Theatre League in good standing. To participate as a producer or freelance director, your organization must be a current organizational member of the South Florida Theatre League in good standing.
Before the auditions, we hold a workshop with director Michael Leeds and music director Caryl Fantel to help actors have the strongest possible audition. It is highly recommended that you attend the workshop before auditioning for the first time.
