deepFAKE @ Sandrell Rivers Theater
May 3 @ 8:00 pm – May 18 @ 10:00 pm

A band of players emerges with a common goal – they are looking for a new place to call home. As their journey unfolds, we discover why they left their homelands to set out on this common quest. As they pull a wagon filled with props in order to communicate through performance, they begin a whimsical exploration of the essence of life itself and their place in the universal order.

deepFAKE is about what fun we can have unraveling layers of intrigue as we uncover truths. deepFAKE is about the limitations of our sensibilities and the depth of our understanding. But most of all, deepFAKE is about finding the humor in being human while juggling reality as we perceive it.

Starring: Joel Añón, Andrea Brown, Kamilah Douglas, Connie Pezet, Devin Riley, and Kevin Rubi

This is a devised theater piece. All content was developed over time between the actors and the director. They started with no script or set or designs.

INDIGO GIRLS @ Parker Playhouse
May 4 @ 8:00 pm

Special guest Three5Human will open the show.

The Indigo Girls are among the most enduring musical groups to emerge from the late-’80s female singer/songwriter scene. With twelve original studio albums, three live records, various Greatest Hits compilations, the Grammy-winning duo of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers established a devoted national fan base thanks to early hits such as “Closer to Fine” from their self-titled Epic release in 1988, which it was the first of six consecutive gold and/or platinum-certified albums. They continue to challenge themselves creatively, over and over again, adding to a body of work that contains such contemporary classic songs as “Galileo,” “Shame on You,” “Closer To Fine,” “Kid Fears,” “Love of Our Lives,” “Making Promises,” and more. Together they have written, arranged, recorded and performed music which over the course of the past twenty five years has become a vital part of the lives of their legion of devoted fans around the world, informing and rewarding them day to day. After numerous Grammy nominations and awards and gold and platinum certifications and decades of touring in clubs, arenas and everything in between, Indigo Girls remain active and relevant, always viewing their music as a fresh opportunity for exploration and discovery.
