“STEPPING OUT” by Richard Harris is a charming play about a group of ordinary people takng a tap dancing class in the basement of a church in a suburb in London. Thier ordinary lives are not without troubles and they learn and grow through friendships they find in this dance class. The play originally produced in London in 1985 and on Broadway in 1987 is set in the 1980s and is performed with British accents. It is a play with music as these people learn how to tap.
