Current Member Profiles FAQ

The South Florida Theatre League completely revamped our website in 2021, providing new functionality to member profiles — including the ability for members to update their own!

Here are answers to some common questions on how to complete your new profile.

At the very right end of the menu bar, it says account, click on it, and a dropdown menu will appear.

Click on password reset to create your password. Your profile is linked to the email address we have on file for you and when setting up the profile.

Once you go through the process of password reset, you will be able to to log into your profile for the first time.

Our new membership database gives you the following fields you can update:

– Profile Picture and Cover Photo
– Stage Name/Nickname
– Role(s) in our community
– First Name
– Last Name
– Email Address
– Union Affiliation
– Gender
– Race/Ethnic Identity
– Playable Age

You can add as much or as little information to the database as you want. However, what you add makes you searchable by producers — so if a theatre company is looking for to fill the role of Ernestine in Lynn Nottage’s Crumbs from the Table of Joy, they can search for a Black actress who can play a teenager — and unless someone has all of those identities checked, they won’t come up.

The cover photo default is the South Florida Theatre League’s logo. However, you can (and are encouraged) to add a production photo — showcasing your work.

We built out this website with a very long list of known unions and roles in the community and so on — but its entirely possible we missed a designation. Email Andie Arthur at andie@southfloridatheatre.com and she will fix that.

Please email Andie Arthur at andie@southfloridatheatre.com. She moved over all of the member profiles herself and could have accidentally missed yours. It’s also possible that your League membership has unexpectedly lapsed.
