Ellen Murray & Geoffrey Short star in Alfred Uhry’s timeless, funny, and ultimately hopeful meditation on race relations in America. Its mid-century Atlanta, and elderly Jewish widow Daisy Werthan is deemed too old to drive, so her son Boolie hires Hoke Colburn, an African American man, to serve as her chauffeur.
