Ben Freixa is best known for his stunning and poignant role as ‘Kenneth’ a soldier with PTSD, in the performance of Clybourne Park, by Bruce Norris.
Enrolled in the AA Theatre program at Broward College in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Ben is receiving formal acting training and coaching from his professors and directors. Monologues, impromptu, theatre history, and short plays with character analysis are frequent assignments in the program.
Mr. Freixa is currently training with “The Chessmen” for stage combat performance at Renaissance Festivals. He frequently creates and dons costumes ranging from Medieval to Spartan to Pirate to Video Game, TV and Movie characters.
As an avid fencer, Ben has enjoyed LARPing (Live Action Role Play) and sword fighting in his spare time. He currently takes orders at a drive thru, frequently complimented on his smooth, clear, radio voice over the speaker. He once guided a group of tourists through Venice, Florence and Istanbul based on his acquired knowledge of the cities from the video game Assassins Creed. Ben’s interests and skills include engaging in fencing bouts, LARPing, movies, history, video games, Game of Thrones, Comicon and Anime conventions, Renaissance Festivals, bike riding, swimming, bowling and theme park rides.
Ben is looking forward to being a part of a stage, TV or movie production that will prove to be highly original, historical, humorous and honour worthy!
