About DJUNA:

Djuna Barnes, once described as the most famous unknown author in the world, has decided to sell her life-long personal collection of manuscripts, books, poems, letters, photographs and her original art works to the University of Maryland. Among her friends and acquaintances were T.S.Eliot, James Joyce, Peggy Gugenheim, Gertrude Stein, e.e.Cummings, Dali and many others. Liz arrives at Djuna’s Greenwich Village apartment to catalogue the collection. The play focuses on the accomplishments of the remarkable Miss Barnes as well as the growing relationship between the two women.
